The editors must have all been blinded before editing this book. Many sentences, questions, and problems are poorly worded or misleading. At least one sentence I've come across is a fragment. I'm only through Chapter 2, and I have already found 2 questions in which the data was changed from the previous edition and yet the answers were not updated to reflect the new numbers. I thoroughly enjoyed paying to preview the 17th edition of the book just to check to ensure that was the case.I only purchased this book because it is recommended reading for the CPIM exam so it seems I will need to struggle through it, but I do not recomment if you have the OPTION to choose this book. Surely there must be better materials out there than this.
I received this soft cover text book quickly and in good condition. However, I am a bit concerned. As can be seen in the picture, there is a small red triangle in the upper left hand corner. The note on the red triangle says that the circulation of this edition outside of the Indian subcontinent is Unauthorized. I purchase my book through Amazon. I will have to return it as the chapters in this softcover version are different than the hardcover version.
Working on a Logistics degree. Arrived on time. Good quality. Good price, cheapest I found it anywhere.
Literally worst textbook ever! It doesn't explain any examples at all or shows you how to do them! The practice problems are bad too, they're different and nothing like the examples the book gives, so far I am hating this class because not even the instructor takes the time to explain what's going on, I just see charts with a bunch of numbers and it doesn't give a clear example on how to do them! Total waste of money in a book I can't understand
The book is made in India, not the same as the one you need for class! Some chapters are missing or mixed up in order. It will get you through class the first month, then you are in trouble!
Great deal! Paperback International version of the hardback US version always beats the price by 60-85% hands down.
I had to buy this book for a class, it is the only text book I have ever managed to read cover to cover. Well written and very informative.
I like it.
